FAQ

Home / Award-Winning Perth Wedding Photographer / FAQ

1. How long do we need for our location photos?

1-3 hours is recommended. This varies because of travel time and time of the day. It is important to allow for the time it will take to drive between your chosen locations. I also suggest you check the time for sunset.

2. How many photos do we receive and are they edited?

You will receive around 700 images. Your gallery images and digital files will all be colour corrected and have the correct exposure and contrast. All of these images are print ready. Your chosen album images will be retouched if necessary.

3. Do we get to choose our album images?

Absolutely! I love to have you involved in the design process by choosing your favourite images. You will have an online gallery of your wedding images that you can access and share with your family and friends. You will be able to select your favourites for your album and it is from these we will create your design.

4. How long does it take to get our files and our album?

You can generally expect to see your proof gallery and get your disk of images in 6 weeks. For albums, once the design is approved usually take approximately 10 weeks to get the album to you.

5. Do we own the copyright for our photos?

Yes, you do. All of our couples receive the high resolution digital files from their day.

You may share and print all of your images. We also retain the right to use your images for business purposes. This can include our website, blog and other media. This is common practice in our industry however if you would like further information we recommend you contact the Australian Copyright Council.

6. Can you hold our wedding date?

As we take bookings well in advance, we need to be able to let prospective couples know our availability. We do not hold a date until the deposit is paid. This deposit booking ensures that your photographer is confirmed and booked for your wedding day.

7. What is the deposit and how long do we have to pay?

A deposit of $1000 is required at the time of booking to secure your date in our calendar. This must be accompanied by your signed contract. 50% of the remaining balance is due 4 months before the wedding and the remaining balance will be due 1 Month before the wedding.

8. Can we come and meet you?

Absolutely, in fact we recommend it. I am happy to show you some sample albums and complete weddings if you wish. The relationship with your photographer is as important as the style of his work! Meetings can be scheduled after hours if necessary.
